Originally an innovation of the region's Native People, snow-shoes (raquettes) are a great way to stay on top of the snow! Head out on the frozen Lac de l'Anse à l'Eau or into the woods for a guided hike.

Cross-country skiing

Skis are available to hire at the hostel with graded ski trails nearby for the beginner to advanced. Guides are available for group introductions to this aerobic activity.
